“Lay of the Land” Denver City Tour
Date: Sunday, September 4, 2016
Time: departs(*): 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Description:  *45 minute looping tours departing from the Colorado Convention Center, Lobby A Drive.
This city orientation introduces participants to the various landmarks and historical sites around Denver as well as trendy stores, delectable restaurants and nightlife favorites. This whirlwind tour of the Mile High City will get you excited for the conference and prepare you to explore these areas on your own!
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Tour – sponsored by NIST

Time:  1:15 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (departing at the Colorado Convention Center at 1:30 p.m. and returning to the same location at approximately 6:30 p.m.)
Cost: US $75. Limited to 52 attendees. This tour is not intended for family members.  Discounts do not apply.

Description:  ASC’16 is pleased to offer a technical tour to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Boulder campus. Founded in 1901, NIST is a non-regulatory federal agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce. NIST’s mission is to promote U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by advancing measurement science, standards, and technology in ways that enhance economic security and improve our quality of life.
Attendees who are US citizens are required to present their Photo I.D. (federally approved State issued driver’s license, Federal ID, or original passport).
Attendees who are permanent US residents must present an original “green card” (not a copy). International participants must present a valid passport and also complete and fax a 1260 Form by the registration cut-off date. This form will be emailed to the attendee after registering for this tour.
